Description

Blue Topaz unique earrings with gold, silver, diamonds and our original Starfish butterflies.
The ‘starfish butterflies’ have a style of their own; therefore, they add to the overall design. They are larger than the average butterfly, which prevents the earring from falling forward. The centre of the ‘starfish butterflies‘ is neoprene which grips the post for added security. Neoprene is resistant to oils, heat, water and solvents, which means it is durable. Neoprene butterflies are the perfect solution.

The Topaz is a beautiful clear sky blue colour which is one of the most popular colours. As you may know, Topaz comes in a great variety of colours, but sky blue is the most desirable.

In 1812, Friedrich Mohs developed a hardness scale still used today to identify the hardness of minerals. Topaz is an eight; therefore, not only is the blue Topaz desirable, but it is also hardwearing.

The pure gold and pure silver colour harmonize with the Blue Topaz unique earrings; also, the diamonds contribute a delightful sparkle to the design. The earring design is delicate but has a strong personality that is both distinctive and stylish.

The ‘Gold and Silversmiths Guild of Australia’ was founded in 1988 by Michael Wilson and Tony Kean. The Guild has a stamp that verifies that the item is Australian-made. It also shows that the maker is reputable and has obtained a high technical standard in jewellery fabrication. A stamp identifies the maker; each maker has its own ‘Makers Mark’ stamp and other stamps that identify the metal content.
