Description
The Ruby-red Rhodolite Garnet pendant has a frosted finish, accentuating the Garnet’s dynamic colour. The pure gold and pure silver finish glistens and shimmers in the light. The diamonds add an occasional, surprising glint when the light touches them. A modern style with a unique look completes the design.
This dainty pendant is tiny but mighty, a perfect gift to receive and give.
The pure gold granules supporting the setting are essential to the Ruby-red Rhodolite Garnet pendant. Of equal importance are the gold droplets acting as claws for the Garnet. The contrasting colours of the Garnet, gold, and silver are stunning. In a Cathedral I visited in Europe, a stained glass window was ablaze with colour; the red glass stood out the most, as did the Garnet in this pendant.
The ‘Rhodolite’ Garnet colour is raspberry-red with a purplish hue. Rhodolite is from the Greek word “rhodon,” which means rose-coloured. Pyrope and almandine are the minerals that produce this Garnet colour. The purple hue gives Garnet a tone that is more like that of natural Ruby.
