Description
Peridot, Gold, & Silver Pendant with Diamonds
This striking pendant features a vivid green Peridot framed by fused 24ct pure gold and sterling silver, accented with delicate diamonds. With a touch of Inca-inspired design, the piece is bold, decorative, and richly textured.
The Incas were known for their distinctive, ornamental jewellery. This pendant echoes that spirit through its geometric form and bold contrasts. The bright green Peridot is a gem of light and creativity. Since ancient Egypt, around 1500 B.C., Peridot has been used in jewellery. It inspires joy and good cheer, glowing green even in dim light.
The 24-carat gold is permanently fused to the silver using a traditional technique that requires precise timing, heat, and pressure. This fusion process melds the metals together just below their melting points.
